| COTELLESE
Rocco Cotellese Rockcot@aol.com Hello, my family is from Cepagatti. Our last name is Cotellese-- have found my grandfather's birth certificate from Cepagatti. I'm looking to see if there are relatives still in the area of cepagatti. would love some info if you can help. DI DOMIZIO Robert Di Domizio RDiDomizio@msn.com My father, Dionino Di Domizio, was born in Cepagatti in 1883. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1904. I visited my first cousins there in May 2003. The Di Domizio name goes back over 200 years in Cepagatti. Apparently my ancestors originated there before the early 1700's. DI GIROLAMO Nick DiGrino BN-Digrino@wiu.edu I believe my grandfather's family is from the Cepagatti area. His name was Bernadino DiGirolamo. He and his family settled in the western Pennsylvania area. MARINO OR MARINI Bob Marino rossimarino@comcast.net My greatgreatgrandfather, Giustino Marini, died in Moscufo in February of 1932. According to his death certificate, he was 86 when he died, and he was born in Cepagatti which would put the date of his birth in either 1845 or 1846 if the certificate is accurate and depending on when his birthday occurred. Oddly enough, the birth certificates of his children, at least the 3 of the 4 I could find, are listed under the name Marino even though his death certificate has him listed as Marini. SURNAMES FROM FRAZIONE VALLEMARE, CEPAGATTI Linda Gauthier vallemare@canada.com The following names originate from the frazione di Vallemare di Cepagatti: PAOLINI CANTO GIANSANTE MIRABILIO LAROVERA PETRANGELO (OR DIPETRANGELO) My research on the above names is still ongoing. SANTUCIONNE / DI GIOVANINNI Cathy Santuccione catsan@roadrunner.nf.net As far as I know my father-in-law was from Cepagatti. He died when my husband was a child. I got this information from his marriage license. His name was Dionino Francesco Santuccione, his father was Francesco Santuccione and his mother Concetta(?) Digiovaninni. Please contact me if you have information regarding this surname. SIDONIO Mary McCarthy Collins mmcollins617@msn.com My name is Mary McCarthy Collins and I am the daughter of Pauline Sidonio McCarthy and granddaughter of Giuseppe Sidonio from Cepagatti. I had the opportunity to visit 30 years ago with my brother, friends and our family friend and translator, Fr. Peter Sella who was from Monte Di Malo in northern Italy. The weekend we arrived was the feast of Saint Rocco and Saint Luccia. We met our relatives briefly as they were the butchers in the town and very busy at that time. We never kept in contact with them and we would very much like to find them. I know that my Grandfather had a nephew who was a tailor whose name was Luigi Trivellone. As an aside my grandfather passed away while on vacation at his ancestral home in 1962. My grandmother Sebastiana had accompanied him on the visit. Any info would be great. VERNARECCIA / DI TOMMASO TOM HABRO vendas2@habro.com.br My grandfather and grandmother from Cepagatti:: Grandfather's name - ISAIA VERNARECCIA Grandmother's name - LUISA DI TOMMASO VERNARECCIA They came to Brazil in 1902, and it was a big family. |
