My family comes from Corfinio. My grandparents were Domenico Cola and Loreta (Frascarelli) Cola. They came to the U.S. in 1902. Some of our surnames are: Cola, Barassi, Marrama, Frascarelli, Moreschi, Salvatori, and probably also Alfieri and Navaroli links. My paternal grandmother was born in Corfinio in 1897. Her name was DeGrandis. Her mother's name was Navaroli. After her father died, her mother married a man named Barassi. My grandmother's sister, married a man with the surname of Alfieri. I believe these are all Corfinio names. I'd love to hear from anyone who is familiar with these names.

My great-grandmother, Angiolina DI NINO, was born in Pentima (now Corfinio). She was born on June 6, 1896 and she had two sisters and one brother. (I believe their names were Felamina, Mary, and John). Angiolina eventually married a man named Zaccaria Anzellotti from Roccacasale. They moved to the United States and their names were changed to Angela and Jack Angelo. If anyone has any information on Angiolina Di Nino or any information on how I could learn more, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much!!

My Grandfather, Gerimia Ginnetti was born in Pentima in February 1882 and came to the USA in 1898. His parents were Giovanni Ginnetti and Anna Epifania. I think Giovanni died about 1911. My father’s family came to Boston from Corfinio in 1910. His name was Pasquale. He had two brothers, Giuseppe and Guillermo. He also had two sisters, Dominica and Maria. My family history of the Mascitti family in Corfinio
My Great Grandmother: Vincenza Molinari was born 1857 in Corfinio. Her parents were Giuseppe Molinari and Carmina Consalvo.
Vincenza married Loreto Barbone. They had my Grandmother: Elvira , born in 1881 in Corfinio. She married in 1900 to Francesco Mascitti who was born 1871 in Corfinio. His parents were Pasquale Mascitti and Angela Pellegrini. Francesco and Elvira came to America in Apr 18, 1901 landing in Boston Mass. Eventually they settled in Ellsworth and Bentleyville PA. Their first son was my father Pasquale Mascitti who was born 1903 in Ellsworth, PA. They also had Amelia, born 1905 and Eduardo born abt 1907. They then returned to Corfinio and had Vincenza, born 1908 and the 4 children returned to Ellsworth in 1911. Elvira return is not known.

My grandfather and his family were from Corfinio. His name was Giuseppe Spadafora, he was born May 5th 1882. His parents were Domenico Spadafora & Giacomina Carusi.
