My great grandfather was Domenico Cesidio Conicella and his wife was Maria Vincenzo Masciarelli. However, I am at a standstill with the names of his mother and father. My grandfather’s name was Florindo Conicella and he came to America (Philadelphia) as noted below. Ignore the misspelling of the town below… he was from Lama Dei Peligni. Any further info, such as mother/father/siblings/ you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Her Fathers name was Vincenzo Conicella and her mother's name was Daria Mastripolito. My father, Antonio Santarelli was born in Taranta Peligna. His fathers name was Guiseppe Santarelli and his mothers name was Maria Moschetta. DELDUCO (DEL DUCA) Deborah Delduco ddelduco@mediaone.net My grandfather wasAnthony Alfred Delduco; the original spelling is Del Duca. My father came to the United States around 1900 and settled in Minersville, PA. His name was Fiore Del Duca. I have visited Lama many times and I still have relatives there, Rosina and Pasquale Federico. At one time, he was the mayor of the town. Rosina currently serves as a town council woman. D'ERAMO / COCCO Phil Wilson gpwilstan@sbcglobal.net My great-grand parents were for Corpi Santi near Lama dei Peligni and I think they came to the states in the late 1890's or so. My grand father was named Biaso D'Eramo born in 1902. I don't know a whole lot about what or when and I would like to find out if any one has any information to tell. I think my great-grand mother's name was Erminia Cocco and great grand father name was Giovanni D'Eramo. DI FALCO / ANGELUCCI Gerard Di Falco gerarddifalco@msn.com My paternal grandfather was Giovanni Di Falco, born in Lama dei Peligni in 1877. He was the son of Tomasso DiFalco (born in Lama dei Peligni in 1852) and Anna Angelucci (born 1856). Tomasso was the son of Giovanni Di Falco, born 1835 in Lama dei Peligni (my Grandfather's grandfather of the same name) and he married Maria Ricchiuti (?). That's as far back as my research has gone. I know that Tomasso and Anna had other children, son of whom stayed in Italy. DI FALCO Gary Schneider mrswirls@pacbell.net My great-grandmother was born in Lama her name is Rosaria Di Falco. She married Nicola Merlino and settled in Taranta Peligna. They had 8 children. I am looking for info on the Di Falco side if anyone has any to share. He was born in LAMA DEI PELIGNI.He was the son of CESIDIO DI-FALCO -my grandfather and VINCENTE MARRONE -my grandmother. My father and mother had 7 children- 4 boys and 3 girls. He was married to Elisabetta "Elizabeth" di Florio di Renzo. They emigrated from Lama dei Peligni to the U.S. in the 1880s. John's brother Achille married Elisabeth's sister Concetta. All four settled in Wilmington, Delaware. John's parents were Fiorindo di Giacomo and Maria Domenica Silvestri. Fiorindo's parents were Giuseppe Maria Didaco di Giacomo and Margherita Maddalena di Fabrizio. Giupseppe's parents were Vincenzo di Giacomo and Maria Giuseppa di Renzo. Other known related surnames are Mastrangelo and Peschio. FATA / CAPRARA / MADONNA / LAUDADIO M. Bertrando MBert73@aol.com My Great Grandmother was Maria Fata, she came to the USA around 1900 and lived first in Tunnel Hill, PA and then in Kennett Square, PA. There are some families in Kennett with Lama surnames such as Angelucci. My great grand mother's parents were Saverio Fata and Giovina Caprara. Also in my family tree are the names Madonna and Laudadio. FATA / SALVI Dolores DEESALVI@aol.com I am looking for the Fata and the Salvi family from Lama dei Peligni. My father, Quirino Fato (Fata) was born in this town. My maternal grandparents, Francesco and Theresa Salvi, were also born in this town. I know that I have cousins there but I do not have their addresses. LAUDADIO Ray Land RLand@genencor.com My grandfather, Remiggio LAUDADIO, emigrated to the United States in the early 1900's. He lived in Girardville, Pennsylvania until he contracted tuberculosis and then returned. In 1982, 1999 and 2001, my family and I visited Lama and met with our many cousins still residing there. It's a wonderful place and I highly recommend that you visit. MACARIO Ric hd78@ptd.net my grandfather, Pietro Macario came from Lama dei Peligni when he was 16. He settled in Minersville, Pa. I am going over there in April of this year, 2006, to see if I can find any relatives. When we go over there we are taking our family tree book with us. There is supposed to be 5 families with the name Macario still there although I don't know if they are related. I'm sure we'll find out soon. It's also my honeymoon. I would like to get any information about the area that I can. I have heard it is very beautiful there. He had a brother, Nicolantonio, who remained in Lama, had children, Michel, Alfredo, Magdalena. My grandfather's father was Domenico Marrone, married to Filomena DiGIACOMO. MARRONE / ANNECCHINI Anton Marrone mcarrone@netcon.net.au My father, Mario Marrone, immigrated to Australia in 1961.His parents, Antonio Marrone and Carmela Annecchini, lived in Lama and are both buried in the Lama cemetery. Of their other children, Cesidio and Giovanni both also immigrated toAustralia, and Elisabetta (Elisa) moved to Chieti, and now lives inManoppello. Antonio's brothers, Nicola and Vincenzo, and sister Camilla, also lived inLama (Zio Vincenzo still lives in the same house, at the age of 94) PESCHIO / BORRELLI Thomas D. Peschio tdpeschio@cox.net My great grandfather and great grandmother were Luigi Peschio (1836-1912) and Maria Filippa Borrelli (Barella) reportedly of Lama dei Peligni. My grandfather, Filippo Peschio, was born there in 1876 and immigrated to the USA around 1882, residing in Buffalo, NY. I may have an opportunity to visit Lama dei Peligni in May of 2003 and would like to know if I have distant relatives there and how I may contact them. Unfortunately, I do not speak Italian. |
