Jim Perry and cousin Antonio D'Alimonte in LaRocca. Antonio is a retired shoemaker who used to make and sell shoes from the store located beneath his home.
Lettomanoppello 2000.  This statue commemorates the loss of workers, especially of 6 Lettese men lost in the 1956 Marcinelle mining disaster in Belgium in which 61 Abruzzese miners were lost.  Click here for the story of this disaster. Tom Ferrante photo.
